Turkish Airlines continues its network expansion

Already a globally recognized brand, Turkish Airlines continues to strengthens its presence in Africa and will have a presence of 50 destinations in 31 African countries, making it one of the leading carriers to the continent.

Zanzibar, the most prominent tourism destination of Tanzania, will be the 3rd gateway of Turkish Airlines in the country, with existing services to Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro.

Beginning from 12th December, roundabout flights to and from Zanzibar will be operated 3 times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. Introductory round trip fares are available from Istanbul to Zanzibar starting at 636 US Dollars (including taxes and fees).

Additionally, for the operations to Zanzibar, Miles&Smiles members will be able to earn 25% extra status miles. The airlines Miles & Smiles loyalty programme rewards frequent flyers with competitively priced tickets, and guests travelling business can enjoy the incredible CIP lounge.

The Turkish Airlines Lounge Istanbul, an incredible world-class facility at Ataturk International Airport, has been recently enhanced. In addition to the existing facility for business and comfort class passengers, which includes a children’s playground, library, billiards area, prayer room and teleconference section, the expansion has added more relaxation and shower space as well as additional massage beds.

On-board, Turkish Airlines offer travellers the opportunity to try high quality of food. Rather than just serving a “restaurant service”, its “Flying Chefs” aim to make you feel like a star with “Turkish Hospitality” above the clouds where you will discover the real taste.
